Tennis instruction: Once again we should learn from our mistakes and the ones from others. Andy Roddick in this clip attacks once more cross court inside out leaves himself open to several options for Roger Federer, scrambles for a low backhand volley, here makes a capital mistake, by volleying cross court back to Federer leaving the down the line wide open! To salvage the poor approach Andy should have tried to be creative and either drop volley, volley short or volley deep down the line and close in to the net, in a much better position to reach Rogers next shot. Tennis is also about understanding geometry and inner tri-dimensional view of the court.
