When Serena Williams is on, very few women can match her power and movement. In this tennis forehand topspin she demonstrates how simple it is to hit a controlled shot:

- First notice as she starts to move a racket back and turning her shoulders, how she quickly switches to her forehand grip by using her left hand at the throat of her racket.

- She has a large back-swing therefore she needs to make place with her feet while measuring the necessary distance with her out-stretched left arm pointed at the ball.

- As she locks onto the ball and starts her forward movement with the racket head leading the way, she keeps her head/eyes looking forwards toward the impact zone.

- She generates enormous rotational power that unfortunately is stoped by her holding the racket with her left hand at the end of the follow trough.

Her opponents should be grateful to that, because if she would let the racket free flow like Federer, Djokovic and others do, her rocket forehands would be un-reachable!!
