Tennis Lessons - Ten Tips on How to Be a Better Tennis Player

3. Tennis Lessons Organization

To succeed as a tennis player you need to be organized as well.

Here is a simple way to stay organized with your tennis lessons and training:

match-analyser

1 - Set a specific area of your closet or drawers for tennis clothes only

2 - The night before practice, prepare your tennis bag with what you are going to use the next day; your tennis and exercise clothes, tennis rackets, tennis shoes, tennis balls ( if needed) running shoes, drinking bottles, power bars and other things you may want to take along.

3 - Wash a load of clothes everyday or at least every second day. Do not wait for Hotel Mom to do it! Until you are in the top 100 you will be doing your own laundry when you travel anyway

4 - Keep your room nice and tidy, untidy room = untidy mind. You need a clear mind to function 100%

5 - Within your short term goals - up to 21 days make sure to organize/enter one tournament

6 - Within your Middle term goals- up to 3 months (90 days) enter at least 3 tournaments

7 - Within your Long term goals - up to 6 months(180 days a semester) play a minimum of 6 tournaments

8 - Keep a record of your results and notes about your opponents

9 - Keep a record of what went wrong during matches and look for ways to address it. Discuss them with your Coach or Teacher

10. Keep a record of what went well during matches and how to continue to improve on it
