What can I say about this match?

The following, Stosur out served, out played, out powered and out smarted Jankovic. All in all Jankovic did not have a smidgen of a chance in this match.

This is what Jankovic had to say:

“She kind of has almost the game of a man, I am not even at 20% of her ability. That's what it feels like. When I look at how the men play, she has a very good kick, which not many women have. It's a very heavy, the spin. And then she runs around the forehand. She's been very impressive.”

Jancovic is largely exaggerating, perhaps the game of a very young junior but that's is it!

Francesca Schiavone vs. Elena Dementieva
Game, set and Match Schiavone 7-6 (3) Abandon
The writing was on the wall in the previous match and even before for Dementieva. It was just a matter of time and Elena would have to throw the towel in.

Valiant effort to come all the way to the semis in such condition but, a great disappointment for the spectators who paid to see a battle.

Here is what Dementieva had to say:

“It's a very emotional moment for Francesca. She's playing her first final of a Grand Slam, and even today you can see, she was very emotional about that, it's a big moment.

She has a game to win. But it's going to be tough challenge, because I'm sure that Samantha is desperate to win.

They've never won a Grand Slam title before, so it's going to be first time experience. I think the player who will handle the nerves and be mental tougher can do this.”

The final is set I know everyone is going with Samantha Stosur, I will take a risk and go with the most creative of the two, Schiavone in straight sets.
