Tennis instruction: The tennis forehand topspin is the most used ground stroke in tennis. Professional tennis players strive to use it at every opportunity. In most cases in order to dominate, players tend to apply the forehand about 75 percent of the time. Notice that timed exactly with the ball impact, Sergio makes a slight forwards release step (left leg), which imparts further velocity into the shot. This requires perfect timing but once you get the hang of it you will love it! For this excellent footwork is a must, that is if you want to raise your game to another level.
Photo 1 - Sergio Cruz, charges elastic energy on right leg by anchoring the whole of his body weight on that leg as it bends. Photo 2 - Releases elastic energy into shot as he jumps into shot with left leg as he makes contact. Photo 3 - Finishes with a full rotation of upper body and transferring body weight to right leg which ends in front.
